Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Duration: 13 WEEKS
Location: Claremont, NH
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions, including administering respiratory treatments, conducting diagnostic tests, and educating patients on respiratory care techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administering respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy
- Performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques
- Responding to emergency situations and providing life-saving interventions as needed
- Documenting patient care and treatment in electronic medical records
- Maintaining equipment and supplies used in respiratory therapy procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS | ACLS | NBRC certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
